Dr. Michael Markowski is a native of Northeast Wisconsin who, like so many of us at Rehab Lab, found his way into this work through sport. Injuries as a multi-sport athlete pulled him toward anatomy and biomechanics, and the question of why bodies break down the way they do.
He earned his Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from UW-Stevens Point and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He practiced for four years before partnering with Dr. Sam at Rehab Lab.
Michael’s training is heavy on the extremities and hands-on care, with a senior internship and more than two years of residency in The Mally Method for extremity adjusting, plus certifications in dry needling, Graston Technique, craniofacial release, and movement assessment (SFMA and FMS). He pairs that with flexion-distraction and MLS laser to treat the cause and rebuild it.
