Dr. Tony Lopez

Originally from Appleton, Wisconsin, Dr. Tony Lopez became a chiropractor to be the doctor he wished he had during the hardest moments of his athletic journey. After two season-ending injuries, an ACL tear and an Achilles rupture, he experienced firsthand how frustrating recovery can feel without answers or a clear path forward. Those experiences became the reason he dedicated his career to helping people move better, feel stronger, and confidently return to what they love.

A lifelong athlete, Dr. Tony grew up playing soccer before falling in love with lacrosse, competing at Appleton North High School and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where he earned his degree in Biology. He went on to complete his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University with an emphasis in sports and rehabilitation.

Dr. Tony believes healthcare should be collaborative, educational, and focused on helping people take ownership of their lives rather than letting pain or fear dictate what they can do. His approach is evidence-based, movement-focused, and hands-on, centered on empowering patients with the tools and confidence to get back to the activities that matter most. While he enjoys helping people from all walks of life, he has a special passion for runners, lifters, endurance athletes, lacrosse players, and anyone motivated to become their best self. Having discovered running during his own recovery, he now runs marathons and is training for an Ironman, a personal reminder that injuries do not define what is possible.

Outside the clinic, you will find Dr. Tony in the gym, out on a run, spending time with his dog and cat, hunting down food trucks, or embracing his inner nerd. He sees patients at our Wauwatosa clinic.
